Mr. Flinders earned a B.A. degree in Physics from Hartwick College, a M.S. degree in Mathematics from Syracuse University, a M.S. degree in Computer Science from Boston University, and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 2006.  He is a member of the bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
 
Mr. Flinders' experience includes extensive work with medical devices, fiber optics, opto-electronics, machine vision, robotics and many other leading-edge technologies.  Mr. Flinders worked primarily as a software engineer before starting work in patent prosecution in 2002, after which Mr. Flinders earned his law degree at Suffolk University Law School. While at Suffolk, Mr. Flinders focused in patent and other intellectual property matters, and was a member of Suffolk’s Journal of High Technology Law. Between 2006 and 2011, Mr. Flinders worked for the medical device company CorNova, Inc. as in-house patent counsel.
